Kate Mead Recognized for 15 Years of Service
JCA recognizes Kate Mead, Director of Professional Services, with a Soul Award for 15 years of service. The Soul Awards were established to recognize achievements of JCA employees, beginning at 5 years of service. At various levels, the award includes a donation to plant trees in our national forests, vacation bonuses, additional compensation, and personalized tributes.
In 2005, Kate began her JCA career in consulting, and rose through the ranks to become the Director of Professional Services in 2019, managing a staff of over 15 professionals. Kate has taken on a number of roles at JCA. She is highly valued by a number of key JCA clients as their trusted advisor. And, as a member of the JCA Leadership team, she is at the forefront for guiding the firm through strategic decisions. Kate holds a PMP project management certification, and leverages her extensive experience to manage some of the firm’s largest projects related to needs analysis, system selection, business process improvement, and large-scale CRM implementation projects.
Steve Jacobson, CEO, remarked “I am struck by how clients, partners, and colleagues have universally expressed a great appreciation and respect for Kate. She sets a really high bar not only at JCA, but for the industry as a whole.”
Before joining JCA, Kate oversaw fundraising systems at organizations such as Junior Achievement and the American Red Cross. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of Evansville.
It is JCA’s vision to collaborate with nonprofits, contribute to their success with each opportunity, make them stronger, and in turn, make the world better. Kate has done this not only for the nonprofits we serve, but also for JCA.
Congratulations, Kate!
