A. James Minehart, PMP oversees the company’s day-to-day administrative, operational, and financial functions to ensure internal efficiencies and deliver high-quality products and services to clients through the cost-effective management of resources. James leads the company using the collaborative goal-setting methodology known as Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) to achieve the company’s mission. He prioritizes JCA’s culture and staff, making instrumental changes towards creating a positive work environment. James is dedicated to staff engagement and believes that each team member can utilize their strengths to become their best-self.
Prior to Chief Operating Officer, James served in various consulting roles at JCA, culminating in his role as a Director of JCA’s Professional Services team. James has helped clients across the nation with multi-department needs analysis, process improvements, software gap analysis, enterprise software implementation, and more. As a certified project manager, James was instrumental in developing JCA’s Project Management Center (PMC), building efficiencies in project delivery. James has helped a diverse selection of organizations, including Art Institute of Chicago, Texas Children’s Hospital, World Wildlife Fund, and many others. With a broad range of expertise in technology and nonprofit operations, James specialized in JCA’s most complex and innovative projects.
Prior to his work at JCA, James worked in operations roles with Lewis & Clark College, YWCA of Greater Portland, and the Manhattan Theatre Club. James is a graduate of American Musical and Dramatic Academy. A recognized expert in technology and operations issues, James has been a frequent speaker at national and regional conferences for nonprofit organizations, including CASE, AASP, and others.
