MORE ABOUT ANNA MARIE

What do you do at JCA?

At JCA, I oversee marketing and sales initiatives. My responsibilities include everything from marketing strategy and creating content to meeting with prospective clients and managing/attending conferences. I love that I get to leverage my communication and organizational skills in all my work. I get to speak with our nonprofit partners and hear firsthand about their pain points and share how JCA can help them work more efficiently and effectively to achieve their goals.

What is your background? What brought you to JCA?

Prior to JCA, I worked for 10 years in arts and culture in marketing and public relations roles, with most of my experience in theatre. (I was a performer growing up, and I loved being a part of the magic of live events!) What drew me to JCA was being able to work with a breadth of nonprofits—not just performing arts, but also universities, social services organizations, museums, hospitals—which meant my work could make an even bigger impact. I also found the people at JCA to be smart, hardworking, and mission-driven, and I wanted to be a part of the team.

What do you do outside of JCA?

Outside of JCA, you’ll probably find me spending time with my family (husband, two littles, and a BIG dog). We like to be active and are often found at the pool or playground. I’ve also recently started playing pickleball and enjoy playing weekly with friends. Oh, and you’ll find me on the microphone at Karaoke just about any chance I get!
