MORE ABOUT LAUREN

Where do you work? Where are you from?

I was born and raised in Ontario, Canada, and currently live in Toronto.

What do you do at JCA?

As a Consultant, I help nonprofit organizations take their data and systems to the next level, whether that is through process optimization, system assessments, system selection, data governance, data conversion, change management, and more!

What is your background? What brought you to JCA?

I started my career at the Toronto Symphony Orchestra, where I was exposed to my first CRM implementation done in partnership with JCA. I saw how groundbreaking this implementation was and how it moved the organization into a new, data-driven world. I later joined Sunnybrook Foundation, the fundraising arm of one of Canada’s leading research hospitals. During my time there, I served as a Prospect Researcher and ultimately as a Business Analyst supporting system migrations, process improvements, training, and data governance.

What do you do outside of JCA?

I love cooking, baking, and learning all I can about cooking and baking. I am a “forever student,” and I’m working towards my Baking Arts certification through George Brown College’s Culinary School (chef hat and all!). Beyond this, I love spending time with the special people in my life, including my husband and our daughter.
